Another new NOIR
« on: November 03, 2018, 10:51:28 AM »

I couldn’t resist!

2.10 noir signature which I got following the gm factory visit

Edges: 38mm
Spine: 45
Slight bow

All measurements approx

Seeing the process at gm really did twist my arm and couldn’t resist this when I picked it up!

The finishing is outstanding and seems to perform from an initial tap up with on old rubbish white Slazenger ball!

Really impressed! Now to score some runs!!

Dang. I do like those Noir stickers. I'd buy one alone for that...  :D

They are rather nice!

They’re embossed around the edges which gives a little bit more definition

Forgot to add above although you can all probably count there 8 grains 3 in the heartwood

Lovely looking piece of willow. I agree with Mattsky and love those stickers.
Fantastic bat irrespective of price. But the Signature throws up some great value for money.

Enjoy the (minimal) knocking in over the winter.

Glad it’s minimal! Hate knocking bats in!

Looks a lovely bat and great that you were able to select the cleft from a GM visit not many get the oppprtunity to do that.

Hope it goes well for you mate

Had my first hit with this last night, feels fairly hard still and a few seam marks (only in the heartwood)so a bit more knocking required however the middle felt lovely when i found it! hoping it'll open up and be the canon its promising to be!

Update on this,

had a few nets with it now and its starting to open up nicely, hardly any effort required to hit the ball hard, feels fantastic and the handle is amazing but taking some getting used it as its different to the others i have and a different grip so may play with the grip set up on it

still knocking the bottom few inches but even that isn't too bad now, will be using this on Sundays this season ahead of it becoming my match bat next year, my Newbery is still slightly ahead of this but it has been used more!

I’ve used mine in a couple of net sessions and it is a nice bat. I’m going to use it today in a friendly but I think this is going to be my match bat this season
