Is this bat a Newbery with Talisman stickers?  Or a Talisman cleft made by Newbery in the shape of a Newbery with Talisman stickers. The wording in one the the earlier posts confused me.

Looks a beaut whatever it is though!

A copy of the Newbery shape, the bat is a Talisman, nothing else would get to wear the stickers.

I wish, I'm one of the few people on here not claiming to make bats ;)

I get them made by a friend, he worked under John Newbery and alongside Tim Keeley at GN before they both left. I am amazed that he did not carry on with it and have his own label, he is good enough by a mile. He does a few for locals and met in a pub in Kent, my lucky day.

I've had far too much time spent on me to think I could do it day in day out, maybe the odd one in private, cannot make under pressure of being watched.

Got it in today.. The grains are perfect (imo, not too many not too few) just bounced a ball of it for a quick test and boy does it ping!! and that is an understatement.. cant wait to hit the nets with it.. will put up a few more pics..

So the first impression so far is that, the balance on it is amazing, lot of wood for 2.8 and the pickup is feather like..

The packing was also done without cutting any corners.. Very very impressed by the bat and service both!!
