Really interesting 5 minute video.
The ECB got together with the chaps at Chase and Loughborough university to produce various bat designs based on how visually impaired batters hit the ball.
(Because regular bats get shredded!) Some funky designs result...

I was down there last year when the ecb were picking up the bats. Was great to see the bats and hear what they were doing.
