Pressed clefts
« on: February 03, 2019, 04:52:34 PM »

My direct question is whether it's possible to acquire clefts that have been pressed but without a handle fitted?

I ask because after one very imperfect but satisfying attempt with a part-made I have decided it is time to try fitting my own handles. As such I have ordered a couple. I think I can build a jig, but I would still need the clefts to be pressed.

It has however subsequently occurred to me that clefts might need to be pressed with handles attached - to judge the feel for example. Is this so?

Many thanks for any thoughts.

Yep, I can press some clefts for you to fit your own handles. Drop me a message if you want to discuss further
