Crack Fix

All,
My sons bat developed a crack today and I wanted some advice on how to fix this? If it was the edge or shoulders I would glue clamp dowel. It’s across that back of the bat going up to the splice. No signs of the crack on the face.

Ouch, a tough area to repair given the direction and area of the crack. Binding around it may help otherwise you’re into the region of opening it up to glue it then taping/binding it and hoping it holds.

Yeh longevity from any type of repair will be the challenge.

Will have to keep it as his net bat. I’m sure he will NEED another to replace it though

Unusual crack  rather tha try and force glue in probably would  tape  it leave it and  wait and see if  the split gets worse.

If there's no loss of performance I wouldn't worry too much. Tape it and keep going.
