Kempton cc 6-a-side competition

Kempton cc is hosting its annual 6-a-side competition on Sunday 26th May at its lovely private ground at Sunbury on Thames, at which the inaugural Gerry Shaw Cup will be awarded. Teams from Ashford, Weybridge, Weybridge Vandals, Teddington and Shepperton have been confirmed, however we are still seeking one more team.  Tea, coffee and biscuits will be laid on from 10.30-11.30am. Start time is 11.30, and a BBQ from early evening will complete the day.  Entry fee is £30 for a squad of up to 8 players, which covers the cost of BBQ and morning drinks and biscuits. If your club is interested in competing please reply or DM me.

I could potentially get a side up for this @felix, we played at your place Saturday, really nice ground!

What level is expected? Will speak to the lads at Cheam tomorrow.

I’ll have a word with our skipper but expect our lot would be mostly 1st XI

We’d put this on the fixtures bureau as “medium” strength. Kempton will field 2 teams, mostly made up of 1s and 2s players. And @FattusCattus I was wrong, both pitches will be in use throughout the day as matches will be played in parallel.
