Anyone here bat on leg stump?
I am far stronger on the off side and been struggling the start of this season with the ball angling in towards leg (out bowled twice already this year) and have always been poor at getting the ball away on the leg stump line. However, fear taking a leg stump guard might leave me a bit open to being bowled off stump and might signal to oppo bowlers where my batting deficiencies lie.
I take middle stump guard but stand on leg stump, hoping to avoid lbws and know where my stumps are, anything near mid leg is easy to flick on leg, it feels like having more control and comfortable,
if you're good on the off then there'll be enough opportunities, as standing outside leg could mean you will reaching for offside shots, anyways that's how I felt and changed from leg to middle stump guard, hope it'll of any help
