First bat for a little person
« on: May 15, 2019, 12:53:09 AM »

Hello to the batmakers of the forum, I have a small project to ask of one of you. I've been lucky enough to be blessed with a missus who's very keen to get into cricket and after seeing her smash a few balls on Saturday, reckon we could make her into a handy cricketer. We're keen to get her her first bat, but the only issue is she's 150cm tall so most 'adult' bats are significantly too large, so was wondering if there was anyone on here who'd be interested in helping me get a size 5 length bat made. The face would be the usual width of an adult bat, as well as a skinny probably junior-esque handle (small hands), around 2lb 1/2oz and mid middle which picks up nice and light.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in helping us get this made, cheers.
