I thought it would be fun to start a thread with pictures of the first bat you bought on the forum...

I have just moved house so have been finding/rehiding cricket stash all over the place and found this beast... an original SAF bat, the first "Genus" shape. This is a big lump of a bat which I scored a lot of runs with...

This one had a refub and still looks brand new, despite being 10 years old..!

I've not got any pictures (or the bat anymore) but i had a H4L Devil that i would wager was the best looking devil ever produced.

Right place right time and all that there's a thread on it somewhere!!

Eventually a Redback Allegiance Limited Edition. I had paid for a Grade 1, but the amount of time it took to arrive led to an upgrade, allegedly to a Cosgrove cleft.

It is still going, having sold it to my mate Dan. He likes it.

In true CBF style my first forum bat was bough, used by me a couple of times, leant to a teammate, claimed back and used a bit more, sold on and used to death by a teammate!

It was a Woodstock Tour De Force, then refurbed as a Neon but I think it ended it's life as a "New Balance" once my teammate got his hands on it

No pictures anymore as lost my photobucket account when they wanted you to pay for it.

My first forum bat was a Vulcan, actually used it for quite a while before the forum obsession with buying and selling for a loss took over lol. After the Vulcan I had a Hammer Core LE from IJC and that was a lovely stick

I believe my first purchase from a forumite was a lovely H4L NV which I purchased from @SOULMAN1012 on eBay - a bat I regret swapping with @Chalkie at the CBF net

I genuinely can't remember, but I suspect I bought some sort of Talisman from Walter Mitty.

Back when we used to net at dummer as a warm up for the mixed grille in the pub afterwards....ah memories.

Screaming cat Premium was prob my earliest purchase, never used it tho as ended up with a pro in a swap deal with Roco.

@velvetsky01 if that was the NV Pro than that’s top of my “regret I sold it list” was huge and so light, can’t remember who’s it was know, think it was Brendon Nash when he was at Kent. If it was a G2 that was also a very good bat
