England squad for fourth npower Test:

Kevin Pietersen (Hampshire, captain)
Tim Ambrose (Warwickshire)
James Anderson (Lancashire)
Ian Bell (Warwickshire)
Ravi Bopara (Essex)
Stuart Broad (Nottinghamshire)
Paul Collingwood (Durham)
Alastair Cook (Essex)
Andrew Flintoff (Lancashire)
Steve Harmison (Durham)
Monty Panesar (Northamptonshire)
Ryan Sidebottom (Nottinghamshire)
Andrew Strauss (Middlesex)

England squad for the NatWest Series and NatWest International Twenty20:

Kevin Pietersen (Hampshire, captain)
James Anderson (Lancashire)
Ian Bell (Warwickshire)
Ravi Bopara (Essex)
Stuart Broad (Nottinghamshire)
Paul Collingwood (Durham)
Alastair Cook (Essex)
Andrew Flintoff (Lancashire)
Samit Patel (Nottinghamshire)
Matt Prior (Sussex)
Owais Shah (Middlesex)
Ryan Sidebottom (Nottinghamshire)
Graeme Swann (Nottinghamshire)
Chris Tremlett (Hampshire)
Luke Wright (Sussex)

I think this is the last chance for Ambrose and hopefully Bopara will score some runs at the oval and cement his place in the side.

Ravi Bopara (Essex) - AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!! Shocking!!!!
When will the selectors bring in Owais Shah. Hes easily the better batsman and fielder

Shah (middlesex) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRHHHHHHHHH ;)
Bopara (essex) YYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY
Bopara has been in serious for this year and scored major runs, i think he deserves his go again in a bit more familier conditions than Sri Lanka. I suspect Shah must be next in line though.

Yep Foster imo is the best keeper in England at the moment and his first class average is 1 run less than Ambroses iirc.

Foster may be a safe pair of gloves, and a decent run scorer, bt he isnt a great batsman that will go and score loads of centuries at test level, im nt sayin he is good with the gloves bt mayb given another chance prior could score some big runs in a lacking england bating line up and still keep pretty well.

Well keeper's imo should be in the side for one reason, to keep. Any runs they score should be a bonus and Foster is a more than capable batsmen and we won't have to worry about him missing much like we will with Prior.
