Bad Back when batting
« on: August 19, 2019, 12:11:48 PM »

Unbelievably I've had a few decent but long knocks recently (average 100 balls or so) and I'm really starting to notice bat pain afterwards in my lower back. Is this technique related or should I just look to strengthen this area via gym work?

I reckon stretching will help. Back and legs, 5 mins before and after.

  • Clear your mind, stay still and watch the ball

Also think about your technique, do you bend from your hops, or slouch your shoulders and back a bit.
The former is the way to go...
