Cricket in (and around) Colchester
« on: November 03, 2019, 08:24:54 PM »

Hi all,

Due to family and work I am moving to Colchester so will be in need of a new club.

I have had a look around online etc.... and I think there are quite a few clubs, so was wondering if anyone had any experience/knowledge of the clubs in the area?

From what I can see it is covered mainly by the Two Counties League apart from Colchester & EE who play in the Essex Premier League. Clubs also spread across the 1st 3 divisions of the Two Counties - Wivenoe (div 1), Copford (div 2), Abberton (div 3).

I am interested in how big the difference is in standard between the two leagues and the divisions in the Two Counties. As well as any information on the clubs.

Thanks
