Say hello to Hercules.....
A nice lightweight 825g of pure Lignum Vitae mallet, lovely oak handle (sorry covered it with a grip) .....
Perfect for what i need and certainly speeds up knocking in.
Les in my opinion is as much a genius as many of the great batmakers on here and offers an amazing product and service.  Give him a call and make you life so much easier (for all the Black Friday bats you will buy!)

Very nice. I was looking at his site the other day, but decided that I still couldn’t be bothered to knock in bats. If I ever become a judge I will certainly give him a call though.

it has made light work of a fairly softly pressed bat, i can think of a few local judges that could potentially use the weight of the LV mallets better.......
Anyway - you actually have to use them to need to knock them in!!!! I think you have a Stokes shrine somewhere.......

Hoping mine arrives before next week too, I ordered a boning tool but it sounds like the CBF members have kept Les busy with hammer orders so he’s doing a batch on boning tools next week.

I got the same one a while ago, great quality and craftsmanship....bloody heavy on the arms tho!  :D
