Players wanted for Kidmore End CC
« on: January 16, 2020, 09:51:19 AM »

Hey guys,

As the title suggests we are looking for players at Kidmore End Cricket Club, based just outside Caversham, Reading. We are a family run club with probably the best facilities in Berkshire, our home deck is great and we are constantly looking to improve it. We have a lottery funded pavilion and a great (and I mean great) tea.

We are looking at running 4 Saturday sides this year and so are looking for as many players to join up as possible. Our 1s play in division 2 of the Thames Valley league, 2s are in division 7, and our 3s and 4s are in division 9 so there is a level of cricket for everyone.

We also run a Sunday side and a multitude of junior sides as well.

Our winter nets start on the 12th February at 7pm at Shiplake college. Would be great to see as many of you guys there as possible!

Cheers
Jake

Out of curiosity, how do you manage with such a big gap between your ones and twos in terms of levels?

It's tough mate tbh, that's why we have such a big recruitment drive at the moment, our top priority this year is our 2s

Makes sense - I know we have struggled with a three division gap in the past, so props to you for managing it with five!
