Not at all, my point was it's not just Collingwood doing it. A number of players on the 1st Class circuit have seen Colly doing it and have now implemented it into their training routines.

And you could argue that Colly is currently Englands in form batsman

I have a stack of suitable bats here but I'm sure that it is just a small passing phase and getting used to your match bat will produce more match runs.

Cheers Mike but I have had my match bat for over a season now and I have not had a problem scoring runs with it.  Feel free to PM me with the bats info and prices as I might be interested.
