T20 rented pitch rate
« on: September 03, 2022, 03:30:49 PM »

We currently rent our ground out once or twice a week during the season to a local midweek T20 team. Our treasurer believes the rate we are charging is too low but as groundsman I'd like a better idea of what other clubs are renting their grounds out for per T20 game?

Cheers.

We pay the local council £80 for a midweek pitch hire of an artificial wicket with access to changing rooms and toilets. Likely going up for next year.

We've just done the costings per strip for us including all labour. Fresh deck £100 ish, used wicket £80. We've been renting them out at £160 for a 50 over game and £120 for a T20/ kids game. We don't have the most strips in the world and these games usually require one of the middle 4/5 hence the higher rate.
