Just a quick little review on my new bas exploder.
I picked this up from crown cricketer for 17250rps roughly 180 quid. I haven't used a bas for a while but always thought there up there with the best from India. First impressions were a very light pick up, on the scales it weighs just over 2'10 but would say it feels half an once lighter in the hands. Tapping it up it is extremely responsive all over and still rebounds nicely up by the stickers. I would say its on the soft side so being cautious and building up the whacking slowly! Also the first thing I did was give it a decent bat wax. The handle isn't as oval as I'd normally use but was surprised its pretty thick, Decent embossed stickers imo. All in all very happy with it, and for 180 can't go too far wrong. Actually tempted to buy another ready for next season.
