Zing bails
« on: March 12, 2021, 08:08:23 PM »

Does anybody have any experience of using zing bails for their club?
We are debating using them on midweek games with a pink ball?
Also do any of the sponsors have them for sale?
Cheers

I've used them for LMS, two main issues...

1. Take the batteries out after use, otherwise they'll be dead in a week.
2. That's largely irrelevant as it's never dark enough to get the full effect, unless your playing under lights!

Look great on TV , but a bit 'meh' in real life.

Yeah I stock them and have used them in games myself. I like them. As said take the batteries out when they are not being used. Another note on them is they are heavier and grippier than normal bails. Did have an incident in a game where the stump was glanced quite heavily and the bail didn’t come off.

We've been using them for junior games but a bit of an anti-climax as never dark enough to really see them but the kids like them and keep knocking them off at every opportunity. We also have the GN neon stumps which are ok but paint quality not great
