Neon Cricket 2022
« on: November 19, 2021, 06:11:10 PM »

Good evening! I'm delighted to announce that the Neon 2022 range is now officially live online - link below:

https://www.neoncricket.co.uk/

There's a number of new additions, namely 5 new bat colours alongside a new set of Hybrid batting softs and subtle changes to a lot of the existing range. As many of you will know, Neon is very much a labour of love for me and as such I'd love to know what you all think about the new range. When I get time next week I will upload some close up shots for you all to the forum, but in the meantime I'll be posting on socials over the weekend with a few more images.

Most importantly the release of the new range welcomes back our CBF members discount - simply enter the discount code CBF at the checkout to apply your discount automatically.

You will notice that the majority of items are for pre-order only at the moment, and as an added bonus for anyone patient enough to wait, I'm offering an increased CBF discount of 20% off ALL orders between now and December 17th - after this date the code will revert to a standard 15% discount off RRP on all our products.

Any queries feel free to comment below, PM or drop me an email on adam@neoncricket.co.uk

Thanks all,

Adam

The new colours look great. A couple of players at my club are sponsored by you, and their bats go very nicely indeed. One thing I have always wondered though… do the different colours signify a different bat shape, or are they all the same?

All the best with the new range. I'd had my eye on the wheelie bag for a while, so may have already jumped onto the offer! Not sure I needed some net gloves though...

I had the same question as @SouthpawMark about different bat shapes too.

Love the way you have done the branding for next year Adam.

Thanks @SouthpawMark :) With regards to the bats, the standard stock offering is indeed the same - at one point I was offering 4 different stock profiles, yet almost every person that came in to physically pick out a bat ended up leaving with the same shape. It's been toyed with ever so slightly over the past 3/4 seasons but ultimately it's been the same offering for a while now. Whilst not a custom offering by any means (although this is available if you ask nicely!), I genuinely believe it's as good an all-round profile as there is - and having had zero returns/complaints (that I know of!) since starting to offer just the one shape it's not something I'll likely change anytime soon.

Whilst it's absolutely not the CBF way, 95% of the general bat buying public aren't too fussed when it comes to the nitty gritty of profiles etc - so long as it picks up well and goes like a train then we have a happy customer!

Congrats on the new launch! Any improvement to the luggage?

Thanks!

RE improvements, the main wheelie duffle has remained the same except for a cosmetic change to the material colour - I've tweaked it no end over the last few years and am struggling to find anything to add/change without incurring unnecessary cost!

The junior/training duffle has had a few minor amendments, cosmetically the logos are now embroidered instead of printed as per the senior bag, and functionally the bat sleeve is now suitable for a senior bat not just junior - I actually found a lot of guys were buying these to use for training so made sure this was fit for that purpose too. The size of them is actually pretty substantially for what is originally a junior bag (the images on the website show it filled with adult sized pads/gloves/thigh guards - https://www.neoncricket.co.uk/collections/luggage-accessories/products/junior-elite-duffle-bag)

Cheers Peter, can never have too many gloves :D (even if I'm biased, I bloody love the new ones so you've made a good choice!)

And I just got a nice surprise delivery of gloves and bag - really pleased with them. Although I did have to ‘fess up about buying myself presents.
