Suppliers of bat handles?
« on: January 29, 2022, 05:33:08 PM »

Does anyone have any recommendations of where I can source a replacement spliced handle? Have an old GN which is worth saving, but want to have a go at rehandling it myself.
There are a few on ebay, but didn't know if any forum members knew where I could get one.
Cheers

You got the clamps, jigs and the cutting machinery and hand tools to help you fit it properly? If it is just a cheap bat that you don't care too much about, then just get any old handle from eBay and do it as a DIY project. If it is one that is worth saving, go to a batmaker and get it rehandled by them. Normally handles have a MOQ from India, but if you're set on getting a handle from a batmaker, just drop them a message. Just make sure the person who you ask uses good handles 😂

@Red Ink Cricket or @hell4leather cricket could probably help you out.

I've got loads of handles, which are uncut. Obviously you'd have to match the handle to the splice exactly, so you'd need to have the kit to cut both accurately. Not sure any bat maker/repairer would faff about cutting one to an exact size as all will use slightly different dimensions and have set jigs to cut their handles to their prefered measurements.
