A2 Cricket
« on: July 19, 2022, 10:05:27 AM »

Morning sports fans.

I hope everyone is enjoying the weather and survived the weekend's games.

Now some exciting news, I've agreed to stock the A2 cricket kit to help widen their UK market outreach. This will give me price point options to offer both UK made (Ayrtek Cricket) bats in my own range and Indian-made A2 Bats as well without compromising on quality.

Having met the owner here in Bristol when he'd just started the brand it's been great to follow its progress as it continues to grow. He's an ex-Bristol Uni student and we caught up again when he was back over a few weeks ago to pin down details and talk all things cricket.

As such the first batch of kit will be shipped this week to reach me shortly, I know the A2 bats were on people's wish list so if you want to swoop in for first dibs then please drop me a line as ill have stock of the Zenith, Coronet and Vertex bats plus the other items in their range.

As soon as I have an ETA for shipping ill be flicking the products live on my www.TeamTek.co.uk website if people prefer to buy via that portal. I've deliberately kept it separate from the AC domain to avoid confusion and the Teamwear aspect that will be supplied via A2 will soon be appearing on the TT domain too if your club is looking to move to a fully sublimated kit design next season!

Over and Out

Tom

Thats great news. I have seen a few A2 bats and all have been really good. It will be interesting to see the pricing on these as A2 arent necessarily cheap in the Indian bat market.

Yes they are billed as India's Premium Sports Brand so are focusing on the higher end of the market with their product ranges, The Vertex that's a G2 bat, for example, will be £210 inc VAT and UK delivery.

Not bad for a G2 that. One of the lads at my club had one brought over by family and it's an absolute monster.

Yes from what I've seen of the samples that Arindham showed me and heard from feedback they are finished to a very high standard and pressed well too...Hence why I've agreed to take them on :D

Nick from Custom Cricket 201 stocks A2.

As he is local to me i have paid him a visit because he stocks CBF brands such as Scott or Willow and Wand, who i have bats from.

Ended up picking up one of the Vertex bats the other week and the size of the thing given it was only 2'7 was crazy. Their pressing is really good along with their finishing and the response on the one i picked up was awesome. So much so i took it out on Sunday just gone and ended up getting a 100 with it first use!

The zeniths he had in were really tidy too and at £300 for G1 in the modern game you can't really complain as you can chuck a few extra £100 if they carried bigger brands stickers after all.

Think Nick was the only person in the UK stocking A2 but glad too see you've taken them on also Tom as i know you wouldn't have done so without being confident in them. They so have a bit more of a boutique feel to them and you'd likely confuse them for being UK made with how they look, design etc if you weren't aware they were Indian made.

Can't complain i really like mine but i love all the bats i own in my collection, hence it is hard to let them ever go!

First drop of A2 kit arrived with me yday. Some lovely bats in the 2.9-10 spec if anyone is after one, all bats come with a full length padded cover.

Should also mention I’ve got stock of the Ltd Edition Red duffle bags too that are very spacious and really impressed me 👌

They are live on the webshop or I can send images if people want details of a specific model/weight.

https://teamtek.co.uk/product-category/a2-cricket/

You’ll get a Free Hybrid thrown in with the bats as a little perk too 😁 simply add what size/colour you’d like at the checkout.
