Happy Friday all!
There has been a distinct lack of wood on the forum recently and as I have a little spare time this afternoon, I thought I would post a little review with some photos of a Gunn & Moore Noir Limited Edition.
Over the years, I have had a very soft spot for Gunn & Moore kit with a decent number of bats still hidden away in my personal collection.
At the start of September, I caught Covid and naturally, had some time on my hands which was spent trawling through eBay and Facebook marketplace, looking to pick up some end of season bargains. During my searches, I stumbled across a rather chunky looking Noir Limited Edition on eBay and after some back forths, decided to take the plunge.
The bat was ever so slightly used, no more than a game or two, so I very quickly completed a refurbishment and sent it back up to GM with a couple of other bats for some new labels.
When making payment yesterday for the work, Steve at GM mentioned that this particular bat is not a standard issue Noir and is actually a profile they made up for a professional that used GM previously, so this bat will have been from a batch of just a handful of blades. Not asking too much questions, I made payment and thankfully, received the bat back in the post this morning.
