Ball touching ground, both fingers not directly underneath but beside ball at 45 degrees and this pic not even at lowest point of trajectory when the ball went down and fingers were initially pointing downwards. Ridiculous decision

Seems like a totally clean catch.

 Oh.

Also the quality of that second picture is amazing.

Clearly the wrong decision made there,

Clear contact between ball and ground

Right, folks. Who has got this? Aus or India? Stage set for a Kholi masterclass.

No idea and certainly won’t be placing a bet either. Hope it turns into an absolute classic!

Lyon will be a real handful tho as pitch looks pretty worn now.

If india chase this it’ll be one of the all time great chases/victories.

😲 next stop... The Ashes.

Aus were a pretty impressive unit throughout.

I genuinely think if India had batted first and picked Ashwin the game would have been a lot closer

Good decision - out all day long - fingers clearly under the ball. If you quibbled over every low catch where the ball may or may not have brushed a few blades of grass between the fingers you might as well just give every low catch not out because that happens every. single. time.

i thought it looked a clean catch straight away. but how many of those got overturned because of the 'soft signal' and fore shortening of the camera angle.

find it slightly amusing rohit asking for a 3 match final, w0nder if he'd say that had they won?

The catch aside, India's obsession with IPL cost them. BBL happens every year with tests being played in parallel and the priorities are clear there. Why didnt BCCI force IPL teams to rest the key players and let them travel to Eng for proper prep? The lack of practice clearly showed. Well done to Aus but they did reveal chinks in their armour. I have a feeling this Ashes series will go down in history as one of the most exciting ones! *fingers crossed*
