Teamwear options
« on: January 24, 2021, 12:07:53 PM »

As Beaconsfield 'Kit Badger-in-Chief' I've been working on our club offering for the coming season and am interested to see what other clubs are offering for training/playing kit.

We use GN through a small local sports shop and offer the below. We have all black for any training kit:

Pro performance playing shirts (no coloured trim)
Pro performance jumpers (no coloured trim) - a change for this season from cable knit as our previous supplier seems to have gone under
Pro performance trousers (black and white)
Storm shorts
Bamboo training shirt
Matrix training shirt
Storm body warmer
Storm 1/4 zip fleece
Pro Fit caps
Storm tracksuit trousers
Training vest

Beyond the GN kit, we offer blackout beanies and caps, wide brims, G&P baggy caps.

Are there any other items that clubs offer beyond these?

My club used Raging Bull and they offer a backpack as well as branded base layers too.

Just a little note from Keepers corner I hope there are long sleeve offerings in the training tops 😀

Seems like you have everything covered though

Yes the keepers are covered! We have the bamboo short sleeve and matrix long sleeve.

Im looking into somewhere to get customised sweatbands, new club ties and possibly towels.

Our head coach owns his own brand who are making bags for Lancashire and a few other counties at present, so they will potentially be joining our options too.

Club deckchairs?   :D

Your list puts our club options to shame but other than the juniors we dont seem to shift much club kit from the GN range. Think the seniors stick with what they have plus last year didnt help.

We do have a club of FKWs which probably helps with selling loads of kit. Though you mention deckchairs, I'm now thinking of flags  :D

We had loads of outdated, sublimated tops for the colts that were going to be chucked, so a load got made into cushions for the clubhouse ahead of last season, not that we got to use them at all of course.

It used to be the case that when paying subs you would get a free item of kit up to the value of a playing shirt, but that's just going to be for new members moving forward.

We’ve just launched ours with TNF, some nice snazzy designs having used GN for the last 3-4 seasons.

I'm a big fan of the coloured playing kits! Our current thinking is that once we are into the Home Counties and playing in coloured kit that we will initially use our training shirts, then look into something more bespoke in future. Im pushing for the GN Pro Performance shirts in green and black, just so we have some distinction between training and playing.

Yeh that’s what we had last season to warm up in and if any 1xi comps needed us to wear coloured kit. We’re going to use the training shirt this season as the junior boys play in the green/yellow strip and the girls/women in the blue variant.

Sorry for reviving an old thread. Didnt want to just create one with a similar subject. We are looking to order team wear for my corporate cricket team. It will be a one time order for around 25 tees, bottoms and caps. Any suggestions would be welcome please.
