Millichamp & Hall S100 pads - advise
« on: March 06, 2025, 10:58:38 AM »

All

I’m planning to get M&H S100 pads for my son who is 5’2” height now.

Any advise on the pads based on your experience?

M&H youth size comes with Ambidextrous while small adult comes in RH/LH specific.

My son prefers traditional light pads and M&H seems light weight option and he don’t like Ambi pads. Should I go with Small Adult than youth size? Any major downside based on his height? The size 16” for youth and 16.5” for small adult (from arc to knee roll) as per their size chart.

Thanks in advance

My advice would be to take him to a shop to try some on. Don't overthink things, make sure he feels comfortable in them.

My 2 cents - someone at 5'2 is not really a small adult size - get youth. That rules out the M&H S100 pads unfortunately

Yeah, I use small adult and I'm 5'8 and they're by no means tiny on me. On a kid at 5'2 they're going to be too big.

Aero P1  (size Small) leg guards are the lightest pads you will find in the market.

Thank you and it’s Youth size then.

Aero P1 small - I don’t see any stock availability anywhere, looking for white pads.

I'm an adult, but only 5'4" and find it almost impossible to find pads that fit properly. Small Adult often still too big and usually more like Adult size. Youths are the right size, but the straps are designed for young skinny legs. I end up sending them back as can't do the straps up on my chunky legs  :(
