My £500 budget bat
« on: November 29, 2025, 10:03:50 AM »

My £500 budget buy
So few weeks ago I started looking for a new bat with a £500 budget & this is what it got me.

Managed to pick up a very nice ready to go used Salix AMP sponsored bat. Very light 2.8lb but has a fantastic ping and feel like a wand when wafting it about. Had 3 net sessions with the bat and absolutely love it.
2nd part of my £500 budget went on another just as nice and light g1 Salix AMP as it made sense to have two bats I the same weight and profile. Again another fantastic bat but this one I haven’t even taken out of the house yet.
Then just when I thought my bat buying days were over Mr Keeley decided to knock up some crazy sale’s. Obviously I had to take a quick look and found a lovely G1 that I didn’t need but had to have. Again a fantastic bat that is only 30g heavier than the used Salix but is much bigger profile blade. Will let the photos do the talking.

As much as I love the pair of Salix bats I have the Keeley just suits my hitting better and of the 3 bats will be the only one I keep.   :D

Should just be able to upload via postimages, selecting 'hotlink for forums' I think. Never had any issues getting pics on via this method, unless it's changed.
