I was looking on the owzat website and was thinking are the pimpled shoes as good as the spikes?

if you are batting and it is a dry pitch then possbily - if you are a bowler, or if it is damp, not a chance.

I strugle to keep my footing even with full spikes when batting, well when turning for a second run (this could also be down to the fact I have the turning circle of the QE2!). So personally I would stay away from pimmples especially given the nature if our summers!
