Kook
« on: April 24, 2010, 10:32:49 AM »

Well here is the bat I will probably use most of the season.... never thought I'd be using a mainstream branded bat but hey get past the graphics and its a lovely bit of kit!  2lb 9 with more wood in it than a lot of the heavier bats in the shop.

Couldn't get the picture upload function to work today so have used my photobucket

Looks a nice bat, but the problem I find with Kooks is that they last 1 season max. Interesting profile as well. Hope you get some big runs with it.

I agree! to be honest I just couldnt resist it when I saw it.

Right time to go and pack my gear... got a feeling today will be hardwork as I've hardly held a bat since last season!

Looks a good bat, clearly they have taken some weight from the top third and put it in that nice swell behind the middle. Hope it serves you well

You don't normally attempt attacking shots with the top of the blade and to be fair to kookaburra this bat has a very long middle.

Is it just me or is the profile very similar to the Gray-Nicolls Xiphos?
