Shane Bond Retires from all Cricket.
« on: May 14, 2010, 10:23:36 AM »

Shane Bond has retired from all First Class cricket.

Real shame for World Cricket that his body was so fragile, as he was argubly the most devastating fast bowler of his era.

most devastating bowler of his era, not sure about that, but a bloody good bowler, could have possibly been the best without injuries. A big miss for nz imo!

A strike of 38.7 in Test matches with batsman friendly pitches and conditions says it all, the best NZ quick since Hadlee in my opinion. A prime example of modern day cricket that a fit, quick bowler breaks down because too much cricket is played.....

A real pity for NZ but I can understand him.
