Cricket 3D Matches
« on: June 16, 2010, 04:31:10 AM »

Not sure if you guys in the UK already have this; but in Aus they are just starting to broadcast rugby league and some fifa world cup matches in 3D.

Whats the possibility of watching cricket on 3D tv (even the ashes; it is a possibility)

Cricket could be the perfect game for 3D getting close and personal with the technique of batsmen or watching spinners and their technique up close.....MOUTH WATERING STUFF!!!!

The anticipation of him emerging from the pavilion, and his walk from the boundary to the centre, is almost surreal. The sound of a passionate Indian crowd all chanting "Sachin, Sachin" as they wait in anticipation, followed by the enormous roar when he emerges onto the field, is electrifying.

They were trialing the 3d cameras at the lancs vs notts t20 game last night. The presenters had a look and said it was brilliant. They did say when the first game was going to be but I cant remember now.
