Pressing / Cleft Specifics
« on: December 31, 2010, 02:01:06 PM »

A question for the pod shavers on here. would be grateful if you could post a reply.

There are different types of batsmen . . .for example the hard hitters, Lance Klusener, Shahid Afridi, Dhoni, all power players. . you know the type that swing like f. .k and connect goes miles.

Then there are elegant, graceful players, eg Gower, Carl Hooper (was one i liked), Mark Waugh, Mo Yousuf, you can add Ian Bell to that list as well. A different kind of player.

Would both of these types of players bats be pressed differently. would there be a certain type of cleft that would be suitable for each type of player. i dunno if im making sense. but was thinking aloud really. comments please

Good question. I'd always assumed any cleft can be shaped to any profile. Would be good to hear from the experts
