Which bag?
« on: August 10, 2010, 12:28:51 PM »

Just wanted to know which bag's people have/recommend. I got a newbery SPS at the start of the year and im a little disappointed with it tbh. Whilst its large enough, i think it wastes a bit of space and its a bit cumbersome on match days (especially when in a small changing room).

I liked the look of the kook 1000 bag, but its massive!!!

i have the equivilant of the kook 1000 from a few years back, it is huge, difficult to fit in cars when getting lifts, takes up too much room in changing rooms and is just ridiculous - id go for something a little smaller tbh

I have a great alternative bag, full of class but a little smaller than the minibus sized efforts on the market. It is the Gray Nicolls Players bag, just a slightly smaller version of the bags above. price however is a lot less at £40 posted to your door. I only have 2 left and also have 2 Quantum bags at £35 each posted.

Yeah i figured it would be too big. The biggest thing for me is the space inside the bag, just feel the compartments dont work in the SPS very well

They are still bagged and sealed but our keeper has all his kit in one and it is easier to get in the car boot. I will measure it later if needed but sure they are available somewhere on the net.

I have the GN Xiphos bag.
I can fit in 2 bats, possibly 3 and everything else quite comfortably.
Its quite good but if you can go into a shop and look at it then do.
