Flipper
« on: August 20, 2010, 02:09:03 PM »

Hey guys,

Does anyone know any good videos to learn the flipper from? I've seen Terry Jenner's five spin deliveries but is there any that just focuses on the flipper?

Thanks :)

There's a video somewhere of Shane warne and Mark nicolas during a Test match in Perth on the square and he talks you through each And every leg spin variation. I would find it for you but I'm on my phone.

I think the Bob Woolmer book has a good section on the varieties of delivery.

here is a good video, looks quite useful as he takes you through all the deliveries.

Nice mate. Haven't came across this site and looks good :)

It's great the fact that masters of the art have gone through it for the public like Warney has. I tend to find coaches say to concentrate on your leggie and if you have it, a wrongun so you can master these deliveries before you go onto anything else, which is fair.  Because of this they don't really teach me the flipper and I think it's just good to know at least how to do it :)
