Aus v India
« on: October 05, 2008, 07:32:38 PM »

Is anybody else planning on watching this series? Should be really good and i'm predicting a close series with maybe one team edging it by 1 test match. One problem i think for the aussies is the lack of a quality spinner. He got hit around abit and he was supposed to be the front line spinner. JJ Krejza 20 1 123 0 6.15 (2nb) Possibly now just rely on Clarke and White? India i think are the stronger side in their own backyard.

Going to be an interesting few games. I have a lot of umpiring to do over the coming few days so will miss a lot, an umpire needs his sleep lol.

Australia will have to perform very well to made a competition of it.

The apparent hole in our spinning ranks will probably be exposed.

Ponting what i saw at about half 5 this morning it looked lie Ishant Sharma carried on from where he left off in Australia he was really working Ponting over so very well played to Ponting also I thought Katich played very well before lunch very watchful.

it is crucial to win the toss rrrrrrrrr

The anticipation of him emerging from the pavilion, and his walk from the boundary to the centre, is almost surreal. The sound of a passionate Indian crowd all chanting "Sachin, Sachin" as they wait in anticipation, followed by the enormous roar when he emerges onto the field, is electrifying.

Ishant Sharma i thought was the Indians best bowler, looked like he had everyone in trouble especially Ponting, Well done to Khan as well.
