I see even Ponting has now moved away from a plastic albion to go back to a Albion 98 helmet ??? seems very strange to me....

I dont know why i love the albion he used to have they are all I ever owned and provide superb protection. I got hit in the grill by a ball coming at 120-125km/h and didnt feell a thing, the helmet was fine aswell.

yeh not sure if he became a bit dubious about them after the harmison incident or something, just find it strange that they would revert back to a helmet that was made 12 years ago!

well they are bloody heavy from what i saw when pikcing one up in a shop the other week so id want to be paid a fair bit to wear one! espeically in the heat that they get in Oz :) lucky buggers

Nah where they play is hot compared to England but where i come from its usually 32degrees with 90% humidity. When we played the state championships in brisbane (thats where the gabba is) we thought it was nice and cool at 30degrees with no humidity, but the brisbane players were getting heat stroke.
