Then Mr Dhawan is a Left handed batsman and his LH strippers are therefore fine. There are two give aways here - one he is wearing LH gloves and below is the next photo in the sequence...

the p1 stripper seem to be a bot bulky and get quite big when you going into large sizes

It is technically possible to attach a rear inner thigh pad from another size to the front thigh pad that suits you. I'm not sure if he has done that or not. The v6.0 stripper was made with slightly larger inner thigh pads than v5.0 and earlier. His front thigh pad does look a little loose in its pouch and maybe he trimmed the foam to suit his needs.
The P1 is slightly bulkier because it covers more of the batsman's lower body than the P2. Some people prefer one over the other.

Yeah agreed, I prefer my P2's, although it doesnt matter how good your pads/gloves/thighpads are, it always sneaks through a gap!
