Nice to see the pcb cancel his contract and the pak government condem him and call him a coward just because he feared for his life and thought the government corrupt

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

Just goes to show that the corruption runs deep.

While I in no way support match fixing/spot fixing or dishonesty in general, I do feel for these guys as there is a lot more going on than players just trying to make quick cash...

The great thing in hitting is, not to be half-hearted about it; but when you make up your mind to hit, to do it as if the whole match depended upon that particular stroke.

It's an absolute discgrace tht this has happened.Haider says that the trust has gone in cricket. The fact that he could not trust anyone on his own team or management speaks volumes. If everything he says is true, and I so want to believe him, then i'd like to think things will work out for him. Would be a great pity if he does not play international cricket for the foreseeable future as from the one test he player over here, haider looked a good and gutsy player.
