Yeah It was noticed a long time ago lads, I did advise rob of it but the website is not my responsibility. Thanks a lot anyway and nice to see people are looking at it :)
The swells are concaved, but not a lot if at all really. Still keeps a more traditional shape Edges are 60mm+ on average and blade itself is usually the same maybe a few mm concave at best. Weights are around 2.12+ but if there's any BIG BIG clefts in that are light some have come out at 2.10 2.11

I'd take one of those over the prototype, any day!

I wouldn't mind one but it's waiting for the one that comes out at a light enough weight for me to use

Yet to see a 60mm edged swell. Peter hosk's wasn't I'm sure and another chap on here had 1 at 45mm. Maybe the pack man could show us 1. I'm sure it would sell on here if he did.

When I spoke to rob in the summer he said at that time he wouldn't be able to make a bat under 2-14. That's why I went with the new wave at 2-10. If he could produce any normal profile bats at the 40mm+ at weights of 2-8 to 2-10 I think he will be selling plenty.

The size of the bat depends entirely on the willow available. Some swells in at the moment are massive, But heavy. He did say when he drops on some good stuff he could squeeze these out at weights of 2.12 and above. Maybe not with 60mm edges but they'd be 40+ which let's face it is more than big enough. There was one in at 2.14 that had 60mm edges. I guess it's all pot luck with the clefts. I'm just waiting for his images and then hopefully can show the forum what hes churning out apart from the pro bats and Pooma contract work.
