I got Icon LE GM+......I'm assuming the GM+ start at something like 2.11 which is too heavy for me on the wickets I play on against the bowling I face.

Hi all - would be very interested in your views on the Bat Selector. We believe this to be an industry leading bit of tech.

It is of course 100% perfect in every respect. Meanwhile back here on Planet Earth, if you have any suggestions / observations, we would be very interested in your views how to enhance / correct / improve it.

Best to all

Hi Edward - I think it is a good idea and to be fair it when I had a go it came back with the bat in the most similar shape to the one I play with now. I think a lot of people are disappointed with the branding of the Luna - and thus aren't all that happy when it gets selected for them
I think you should allow for the I like the moo to leg shot though as it is a very important shot at club level, which everyone plays!! ;)

It's a fascinating tool, the only thing I'd like to see is a little brief explanation at the end as to why that bat may suit your style of play. Obviously there's a limit in terms of technology as to what it can say but something at the end. And perhaps an explanation as to why Graeme Smith, Trott or the another pro has opted to use that bat.

I'd second that. I have no idea what the Luna profile is, and I was being lazy and couldn't be bothered to find out, but it would be interesting to see something showing you why xxxx bat suits you!

Great tool and is certainly a step in the right direction. It's great that your looking for feedback, and will hopefully act on it. My thoughts:-

1. Wasn't sure what value the "shots you have trouble with" part added. It's as much a technique/ability issue as bat choice.
2. As others have mentioned, a brief explanation of how the chosen bat meets the criteria would be useful.

One other general observation was that no T20 option exists, the big edge options are to heavy for many of us for this form of cricket.

Good stuff.
