Newbery Krakatoa SPS
« on: January 20, 2011, 06:14:26 PM »

I'd like to start by saying how I haven't been on recently due to other commitments, and I blame the Aussies for having such an awkard time difference!

In other news, my Krakatoa SPS came two weeks ago and I must say (censored) has found one hell of a bat!
It weighs in at 2.11 with 2 grips on with 30-40mm edges and is one of the most responsive bats I have ever used; probably a result of (censored) doing a great job with a mallet.

You may have noticed I have censored the seller's name: I want you to guess who it is :)
I'll give you a clue... these are the pics he sent me.

Since then the bat has had a fluo pink grip applied. Enjoy the pics!

Guys I did get it from Pete, he did a great job with it.
I paid an undisclosed fee; but IMO it was worth every penny!

That jumper and low light was a give to be honest :)

Anyways look a great bat! I have one of these Krakatoas in Players but God these bats are phenomenal! I love mine!

Wazza, if you don't mind me asking how is the pickup on this?

Yours is very very similar to mines;

I wanted to see how long it would take people to realise the hosk-ness of these pictures.

This bat picks up like a feather with 2 grips on...
Mind you the different between mine and yours is that mine is a SPS :)
