2 strap pads - thoughts?
« on: February 14, 2011, 03:36:54 AM »

I'm interested in the opinion of those using 2 strap pads.  obviously most of the 2 strap pads on the market are light weight pads.  has the experience been that they are in fact more comfortable?

Best ones in the market are Morrant International, the ones Tenda wears.

thanks CD.  I'm not so much after specific recommendations but opinion as to whether they are actually more comfortable, and significantly lighter, than a traditional 3 strap pad.  I understand the Morrant's are fantastic, but I want a PU face, SS make a beauty.

interestingly, Mike Husseys surgeon attributed the wear to his hamstring tendon to a number of things including years of rubbing by the top strap of his pad.

Do perople find 2 strap pads more comfortable?

For me 2 straps are more comfortable. I have the puma flectech 6000's. Much better feel without the top strap.

i have found 2 straps to be comfortable, no more comfortable than 3 straps, you dont realise or notice it tbh when on, unless you think about it, so i;d have no worries about the difference if i were you pal!

I love days off work

Back on topic to be honest if your not used to 2 strap pads it can be daunting in the fact you do not get the same snug fit if you like your 3 strap pads tight.

2 strap pads are fine and after a while you will not notice as Sam say's.
