cracks down the grain good or bad?
« on: February 06, 2011, 07:50:24 PM »

Have heard before that cracks down the grain can actually be good, how true is this? personally always thought that cracks were bad, no matter what type they were. anyone have an opinion on this or can answer my question?

my observation has been that all my bats which developed crack parallel to the grains and in which the grains opened-up were the best performing bats I have owned.
