GM Apex 404 and Flare 505

Just thought I would post some pictures and a brief review of each. The bats were brought from JJB online following on from a topic posted on the forum. After looking at what was on offer, I thought I would buy an apex 404 and a flare 505. For £61.98, I am very pleased.

Both bats weigh 2lb 7oz and with an old ball test, they seem responsive which I'm very pleased with.

The apex has 5 grains, which I don't mind, but it seems to ping well and for £26.99, I can't complain!

The flare has 16 grains, half heartwood and a butterfly stain. This bat pings like a demon. A few throwdowns this afternoon and I am extremely impressed!

Overall, the service from JJB was superb, so much so that I have purchased 2 more apex 404 bats, a kookaburra blade and an adidas pellara!

What do you think of the bleaching? I picked up a 606 apex yesterday from JJB but the bleaching IMO ruins the look.

On the apex, the bleaching is visible. On the flare, I can't really tell the difference between this bat and the icon original LE I had. The grains are slightly harder to see but I don't see the need to bleach bats like the 2 above.
