just to confirm that Dr Streaky

Confirmed!

You obviously need to be measuring it at the swell (the biggest part) and have your CD's parallel to each other!

What I noticed so much about the GM+ Icon is how similar it is to the standard Icon's pick-up. Even with the extra weight which sometimes isn't that noticeable, the pick-up is superb.

Used a 2.14 one at our club and felt no different to the 2.11 one I used the game before, if not slightly better.

Streaky, any recommendations on knocking it in. Says it's knocked in but my last 707 went back to JJB with a big crack after 2 nets - that was after 30 minutes bat hammering as well.

Due to the very nature, cricket bats will crack, unfortunately some more so than others - who started making cricket bats out of wood!!

All GM bats are knocked in, if you did want to further knock your bat in, concentrate on the edges (but this should not be necessary), and be gentle - if you hammer to hard you could initiate a crack....

The most important thing is you play your bat in - so use old balls in the nets and don't get Brett Lee to bowl.

So just to summarise - be gentle, don't use new / hard / poor quality balls and don't net with Brett Lee  ;)

I don't think netting with Brett lee would be an issue. The ball would be bouncing back off the net before most of us mere mortals would have seen it. Turnaroundandkickemover :)
