What is wrong with a bat with 8-12 grains? Everyone seems to go nuts for something with 30+ grains, to me it looks like a piece of plywood whereas a lesser grained bat gives it something to look at.

My match bat has 12 but I just love the look of mass grain bats, However I've not bought one

Don't own one and not that fond of the looks. It's older,  drier Willow though, so you should get more bat for your weight....

nothing my mate i have been through th phase of 25-30 grains but keep turning back to my 9 grain wonder

yeah seen some stunning multi grainers, but some classy bats with less grains... i like 11-13 evenly spaced straight sapwood grains :) in an ideal world haha!
