Looks like KP's going home! Don't know if that's a blessing in disguise or not. Shame was hoping to see him do something special this world cup....
at least he may be able to play a part in the IPL now if he has the operation now...

Definite blessing. Call up Eoin Morgan, possibility for Kieswetter, but I think I would love to see Morgan back. Australia have called up Hussey, we can get Morgan back. GAME ON!

Trott to open with Straussy. Follow it up with some Bell, some Bop, then Morgan. I would like to thing Kieswetter would be seen as an option, but I definitly feel that he is one for the future. Let Morgan have his play now, these pitches will suit him!

open with strauss and kieswetter, they put pietersen up there to get us off to a flyer, CK can do that! + he is average 70 for the lions at the moment

Well if it turns out to be true then I don't think it is such a big loss. Although he hasn't done badly, he hasn't exactly been world class either. I agree, open with Trott, let Strauss be the aggressor. With Pietersen opening I doubt Strauss knew which role he would have to play on any one day.
