Personally im pretty pleased with it. I see what people mean about the stud marks, but, as mike says youd have to go pretty deep down to get rid of them.

Maybe part of the confusion has come from the fact i didnt have the bat before hand. I got it picked up from kibbs_11 and it went straight down to GN. In hindsight i should have seen the bat first but seeing what it went from to this im pretty happy.

probably not worth it for the grade bat, lesson learnt there, but i am still pretty impressed by it

they should have been sanded away at least a poor job

For the price which is high in my opinion for the job they have done

When stickers are on for a long time the UV rays can really burn an imprint round them, again the only way to get rid of them is to sand deeper, so how do you keep the bat the same weight?

maybe my super light bats i use beeswax to get rid of them and so far it has

your right though i do not keep stickers on longer than a season and guess they might have been on for a long period

Only stickers i have had on for longer than that a light beexwax left for 5 minutes and then elbow greese off then a light sand has always got them off for me

Ill answer that with an other question how do you sand without removing willow? i'd love to see that done more.

To sand an indentation just use a normal sand paper, curl it into a shape that fits the indentation well and get inside that indentation by doing it the old fashioned way ...by using your hands! it wont take the indentation out but will give a nice even finish in terms of colour. It will certianly look better than the crap job they have done on this bat. It probably took them 30mins to 45 mins max to do this bat and charging 32 odd quid even if it includes stickers is silly.

Well I have a bat here with spike marks on it, pm me your address and I'll send it to you for a full sand a clean, spike marks and all. I don't have any stickers on it nor need any fitting so shall we say �10 for you if you get it fixed for me?

Nice try mate but i dont do refurbs for a living and nor do i have time to refurb other peoples bats let alone my own. However, when i do refurb my own (see pictures in yourkit) i make sure i do a good job using only sand paper and a craft knife. It also seems you cant do your sums, �31-�12 = �19 only for the cleaning. Im not having a go at you but it annoys me when people bring the arguemnt down to an idiots level, expect me to follow and then beat me with experience.

Trying to compare me to professional batmaker with all of the tools at his disposal and years of experience wont get you anywhere. However, if i had the tools and the time the bat maker has i would take you up on your offer for �19 and do a far better job even with the lack of experience just so i could . Having said that, i'd probably refuse because you atitude seems to stink and the fact that if i fail to do the job well you make your point and "win" and if i do the job as i say you still "win" because GN obviously dont think �19 is enough to work that extra bit more.

it was �31 and then �12 for delivery. so essentially �31 for the clean-up.
