Yeah I'm in the same position. Realised I am saying all this, but would never resort to a fight, though Dave would own in a fight so I am told :D - thing is is that if you move clubs, you have to start over and work your way up teams AGAIN. That's all I am saying mate... :|

My advice is to talk to the skipper and tell him your issues. You shouldn't change clubs unless you are looking to further your career as a cricket player and can't do that where you are or you move too far away to play at the club.

If you are getting as much bowling as you are saying you are, your skipper rates you and will want you to play and not leave. The guy is clearly a loose cannon if he can't man up to a bouncer (long hop) from a spinner and laugh. He wont last long at your club, regardless if he is a quality player - which he wont be as he will be too easy to wind up

If you like the club and the majority of the people you play with and also get a fair run there in terms of bowling your full quota etc, it doesn't make sense to move because of one individual - I think you should stand up for yourself.

Just make sure you pick a time when he hasn't got a bat in his hand :)

The great thing in hitting is, not to be half-hearted about it; but when you make up your mind to hit, to do it as if the whole match depended upon that particular stroke.

if he has got bat in his hand just go really close to him so he cant swing it at u and take it off him lol

on a seriouse note that is no reason to leave the club..

there have been a fair few falls outs at all club and heated moments. sometimes close to blows. but it all gets forgoton about after a while.

but defo speak to your skipper
