On a turning pitch in Mumbai no side in the World would score 300+ vs India
Really? Bold statement there Jeet, not entirely true either. Harbhajan's not what he used to be, and Ashwin's fairly inexperienced. I'd back a decent amount of sides to score 300+ against India, the bowling line-up is average. You've got one very good bowler in Zaheer, and a poor second seamer in Munaf/Ashish, it doesn't matter who bowls. The fifth bowler can also be attacked quite well, and Bhaji/Ashwin would have to really be on their game.

The great Australian side couldn't so why would SL, Eng or NZ? I'm not mentioning Pak as ind and Pak both can't meet in the final.

Harbhajan may be crap but on a turning pitch he's still unplayable. Ashwin has proven in IPL how good he is against world class overseas players.

Scoring 300 on a flat pitch is easy. Its much harder on green tops oe square turners.

Dave

Remarkably Ashwin was an opener and somehow became a spinner.

any pitch is a leveller as the players should be good enuff to score runs on any wicket if they are worth their salt!

boils down to who performs on the pitch at the end of the day! the better side will come out on top simples

Great? They're dreadful! Half of their side genuinely cannot buy a run! SL play spin better, for the most part, than Indians (Ajantha Mendis anyone?), And I'd like to think NZ and Eng could push them all the way to 300. Ashwin's still got a way to go, before he's a world beater. Harbhajan can be a handful, but if he drops it short like he's liable to do, he will go the distance.

You misunderstood me, I meant the awesome Oz sides from the 90s threw to late 00s!

Not the current side!

Mendis is no treat to India. He's been found out. In his first 10 games vs India he took 23 wickets at 9. Since then he has 7 wickets at 80 odd.

I have a question

If India are all out for 100 in the semi or final how many fans will still be in the ground

Poor supporters Jeet they do not applaud good cricket that is one thing nobody can argue.
