Actually need to get rid of a few bats in 2009 rather than buy new kit. But there are a few 2008 acquisitions that will hopefully come out of storage for the ‘09 season. I guess like a few of you on this forum, I too suffer from over-zealous bat shopping and demand can never keep up with supply!
(Trying to put up pictures for the first time, so apologies if this doesn't work.)

Bats to Keep: 2 on the left are ‘08 match bats that are too good to retire so they will still be in use next year, despite some toe damage on both. The Newbery (Tendulkar profile labeled Uzi) and the Reebok will hopefully see some action in '09. The 2 BDMs might remain in storage I fear.

Bats to sell: Sommers 201 (never used because the middle is too high for me), AS V3 (mallet knocked+throw-downs), Vampire Blaster (fully knocked-in) and Blade Supremacy (2 matches). All top notch bats but I need to start somewhere! I will be posting the details of these bats in the “For sale” section. Its quite possible that a couple of bats from the “bats to keep” list above might also be for sale in a few months, as I am trying to really cut down on storage of great bats that never get used.

Pads - Morrant Ultralites (still going strong after 3 years). Will be posting 2008 Kook Sub-zero (used once) for sale

Gloves - 2008 G&M Original LE + 2008 Slaz Elite pro. Will be posting 2008 GN Powerbow Test (never used) for sale.

That BDM with the white grip is gorgeous, can't believe it's going to be left alone! Very nice collection you have there.

Thanks guys.
Arthur, The BDM is a pretty looking one indeed but feel and performance take priority and the Newbery and Reebok are quite sensational bats. Got the Newbery from Mike towards the end of last season and if the mallet rebound is anything to go by, this one will be a belter. The Reebok is also a very special one as it comes from a batch of bats that were prepared for a batsman currently playing (rather well!) in the Indian team.  The willow is extraordinarily light with superb ping, although aesthetically imperfect.  Along with the 2 match bats from last season, that makes it 4 gun bats for 1 season...way too many!! Hence the prolonged hibernation of the BDMs.
